Default clutch master cylinder mount

All,

I changed my auto trans on my '95 4x4 12 valve to an NV4500. I am missing the "clip", or whatever holds the master cylinder in place into the firewall. It does not have the 2 mounting bolts on the cylinder like later models. I also need to source the retainer clip and bushing for the rod and pedal.

Thanks for the help!

You can download the parts manual for your truck from the FAQ section here, find the parts diagram in question, and it will show how things are supposed to work. You can get part numbers from there, and then see if the parts are still available. Might need to find an appropriate year truck in the junkyard to source what you need...

spent many hours at the junkyard. Unfortunately, the older these trucks get, the harder to find around Charleston, SC. I tried your suggestion to look up the parts manual, but no luck. Please guide me on how to find that.

Thanks!

Could you use the newer style master with mounting bolts?
