Broken bolt timing cover
I have a bolt broken off in my leaking timing cover and need advice on how to get it out it is broken pretty deep inside and due to this I am unable to take off / repair the leaking cover any advice or remedies would be greatly appreciated
There is really an art to removing broken studs, I would suggest lots of YouTube research. I found this one interesting, although it may not apply to you:
. With a threaded union, it could still be used with a stud protruding from the surface.

My timing cover came off without dropping the pan on my 2001 5.2L, you just have to lift up and pull the cover. Mine came off easy, too bad my part of oil pan gasket came off along with the front cover, as the bottom oil pan seal
I just removed my bolts by hand, a little wiggle forward, a little in reverse. Power tool just wreck chit.
