Hello, all......so some time back my dash was replaced. I never really needed to get underneath it until recently (upgraded to lit towing mirrors and nerf bar leds from LEDGLOW). I came across a purple and white connector that appears to have been connected somewhere as the connector has pieces of the piece it is supposed to be connected to broken off inside the tab.....any ideas what this plug goes to? thanks!

 

Whereabouts under the dash? What color wires? How many of them? What year is your truck?

 

PURPLE AND WHITE......WHITE CONNECTOR......DRIVER SIDE (BEHIND the KNEE PANEL) up around hood release......2000 1500 4X4

 

VT/WH.....TWO wires.....behind the knee panel..........i do have an ABS "driver squib circuit short"......2000 RAM 1500 gas.......quick manual search points to PCM items, outboard headlamp, and daytime rl......have no issues with truck other than the ABS
