My truck had no cat on it when I bought it. I like to follow the law (even though there are no emissions inspections in my area), so I put the high flow Magnaflow cat on my truck, it's been great, I've been happy with it.

Either keep the cat how it is or straight pipe the cat, a high flow cat really won't do anything
