96 dodge transmission

Default 96 dodge transmission

I have a 96 ram 1500 4x4 makes a clicking noise when under a light load almost sounds like parking pawl

You sure it isn't an axle u joint

Yes it's coming from transmission or transfer case

Check the snap ring on the output shaft of the transfer case common failure

+1 on the snap ring. Gilly's Transfer Case Saver is the best fix.
