I would never stack blocks, and I would never recommend it either...... That is an accident waiting to happen.

Maybe my machine shops are more reasonable than yours. I could probably get one made up for 120 bucks or so, plus materials.

All my trucks (including this one) had stacked blocks and get wheeled hard. My company even did SEMA trucks with stacked blocks. I have a machine shop but materials in my opinion aren't worth it. DOM tubing is expensive. Then again you really only have to set up the track bar once. Plus I plan this summer to eliminate the track bar completely so no point in getting expensive. Now I have to go to the study and ponder this whole I smoke my pipe and drink my 200 year old scotch

Solid Steel Industries makes a very nice adjustable track bar (3rd gen style) with urethane bushings on each end. It's good for up to a 3" lift. For more information, check out their site here - http://www.solidsteel.biz/trackbars.htm

The reply I posted earlier was for the original thread poster. In your case, you might want to contact Solid Steel to determine if they have a track bar/bracket solution for your 5" lift.

With custom bracket you could move the track bar hole inward enough to allow the use of stock length track bar.

I ran a DSS adjustable third gen track bar on a few of my dodge trucks for the last few decades. They work better than the factory t-bar. The best fix is to buy the adapter to convert from 2nd gen to 3rd gen t-bar.

Wow I can't believe how much money they are, wow big $$$.
