2nd gen cummins tps issues
Hey guys I'm sure this has been asked before but I'm not sure where to find it on here. I'm going to go ahead and start from the beginning
I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 5.9 Cummins with approximately 327000 miles. I have had the truck for a couple years replaced a lot of stuff but not too much under the Hood. I was driving to work the other day and she started sputtering slightly. Basically highway speed or as I was exiting the highways it would bog a little and then be fine.
as I did some research I figured it was the throttle position sensor so I went ahead and replaced it right off the bat. Then the next day was extremely cold (-20) she would not start due to being jelled up. Got it running with some heat, test drove next few days. Truck is okay for a little bit then stumbles again.
I really hope it is not the vp44 but I'm not sure. I've read it could be just a bad connection somewhere but I wanted to hear what yall have to say.
thank you
