Could someone help me clear something up. I just purchased a 94 Ram 1500. I have been looking at some body parts for it in order to fix it up a little. One main question that keep coming up is do I have a sports package. I don't believe it does but would like to ask what the difference was on the ones with a sports package verses std. model. Any help would be appreciated.

 

Do you have any pics of it?

 

The sports package have body colored grill, bumpers and I think BSM, the regular ones have chrome grills, bumpers etc.

What is BSM?

 

Body side moulding.

If you have a '94, you couldn't have a sport package truck. The sport package wasn't introduced until 1995.

 

true and the sports package came with painted tail lights.

 

the #1 easy way to tell if its sport is does it have chrome on it?...sport packages dont have any chrome..the front and rear bumper..grille..all painted to match the truck...also the grille is differant from the slt...the cross hairs (sry thats the best way i cud think to word it) are more pointed or defined if u will...

 

I kinda cheated after having my SLT I started liking the Sport bumper and grill so I got the Sport bumper and grils and now mine looks like a sport especially with the new paint job I got. All thanks to a dumbass taxi driver who hit me [sm=happybounce.gif], It was pretty funny cause his mini van taxi was totaled while all that was wrong with mine was messed up bumper and side panel.
