You always crack me up I have a spare set of knuckles and I appreciate your opinion!

I've been thinking (now my head hurts ), how much metal will you be removing when you drill the hole out? Plenty of meat left so the knuckle strength isn't compromised?

Yes that's why we went 3/4 instead of 1". This steering will be strong than a Dana 44. We are using some think DOM tubing

A castle nut with a corresponding cotter pin and of course a matching hole in the bolt.

Have that planned to stop the nut from backing off

The steering Heim joint to sit on the top of the knuckle hole and the other Heim joint on the bottom, you probably know this already. No welding should be needed. 3/4 inch Heim joint on the steering box arm or TRE? Which ever will have to be removable. It looks like there is enough meat on that arm for a 3/4 inch bolt too. Throwing some thoughts out here.

Yes the drag link will connect to the top is passenger knuckle and the TREs (hiem joint not actually a TRE) on the bottom. No welding will be necessary. We tested the pitman arm and knuckles on the D44 and D60 and the strength was not compromised. The only is are people willing to drill land never go back to TREs. I'm going to try to keep it cheap but it's looking to be close to $900 at the moment that's with the track bar (3rd gen style with hiems), drag link, steering, and hiem adjustable seat bar mounts
