Default Rear axle ratio

Hi , this is my first post. Most of my camper customers don’t know their rear axle ratio. Aside from using the VIn# and calling the dealer, or using the factory window sticker, is there info on a truck label showing the ratio number, or maybe an RPO code (like GM does in the glovebox)?

Depends on the truck. Dodge had a habit of putting that info on a sticker under the hood. Though I haven't ever seen one.... (but then, I never went looking for it either.) For dodges newer than 96 or so, you can enter the vin, and pull a build sheet from here. Sometimes, the tag is still on the rear diff.... or, pull the cover, and count the gear teeth.

Thank you. I was hoping for a nice “clean” way to get the info, like the RPO code in a GM , glovebox. Thank you though

All my Alucks have the sticker under the hood. Except my 01 because it's a different hood, but it's there just wrong

You can always try here: https://fcacommunity.force.com/RAM/s/equipment-listing
It says vehicles before 1998 are not eligible but it still works for the most part. Some options might get "DESCRIPTION NOT AVAILABLE".
See a 1994 example https://www.jeep.com/webselfservice/...HF16Y8RS600299

Mine has a sticker on the hood that I had to update with a sharpie when I changed the gears.
