Once this truck gets dubbed the project truck it'll be getting a new frame. For now I'm pulling the sway bar off, I'm going to plate both sides of each rail with 3/16 plate then a piece of 1/4 channel will get welded in with nuts welded to the back for the sway bar bracket bolts. Then I'm going to add a piece of 2x2 or 2x4 3/16 wall tubing from one rail to the other for a little extra frame stiffness. Should hold up nicely

I will. For now I've gotta get the whole fronts suspension rebuilt before I tackle the frame horns. I just got my shocks, control arm bushings, ball joints, tie rods, sleeves, idler, and steering arm. So I've gotta tackle that project first. Once it goes up on the hoist the sway bar is coming off to get stripped and painted and I'm gonna drive without it until the frame gets repaired. I'm not gonna be doing any towing or hard cornering for a while so I'm not concerned about body roll

I took the seat bars off the first day I got the truck. Not much body roll on these

Yeah plus everything in the front suspension will be brand new including the shocks so that'll help keep it steady
