Say what? The 205 is a heck of a lot stronger than the 231....... The 205 came in one ton (and heavier) trucks, the 231 was never even considered for them.

I would never install a 205 in my shop is all I'm saying. Seen way to many break. For about $75 you can build a stout 231. Heck it handled bouncing my 40s (my Car actually bent)

only thing I can think of that someone else didn't mention is maybe there is a delay with the adapter.
