I'm a first-time user on this forum I've read lots of it before and it has helped me greatly so thanks to all of you to begin with. I bought the parts to replace the sensors and solenoids and everything electrical inside the transmission I dropped the pan and to my surprise I found this in there anybody know what it is and where it goes

You may, but try doing it without taking it out. You will have a short strut that may fall out too. Loosen the adjuster all the way and install it back in.

If I can't get it up in there can you just drop that valve body out without complete disassembly of the transmission no problem
