Default Knocking when engines warm

anyone help me with this. I cant figure out what the hell it is. My cel came on yesterday to and i think it was codes 25 and 43. but i have to check. sould i try to switch to 93 oct. it only does it when the trucks starts off from a stop when its warm. in never does it when it sits over night in the cold.

what do you mean by nock/ like spark? or like crank case nocking... assuiming you meant spark... clean the TB and run 93 and a cleaner through it .. and burn the hell outa the motor on the freeway at like 1000000 miles an hour

Just took my 01 5.2L in at 30,000 miles and I had the same problem. Knocking (louder than a ping). Dealer said there was a TSB and did a new flash. Fixed it.

well i put in some 93 oct. in and i hate to say this but my motor loved it. bye bye money!

rather than filling it with 93 oct all the time switch to a cooler spark plug like autolite of NGK

agreed about the death flash. had it in mine when I bought it couldn't pull peanuts out of poop! after the superchips all that has changed
