Default Plug without a connection?

I’ve always wondered what this unused plug is/was for? (Lower right corner) my best guess would be for the thermostat sensor from the overhead console. Can anybody confirm, or dismiss the guess? Thank you!

Is it a 2 wire plug? If it is it's for the front wheel speed sensor if you had 4 wheel ABS

The ABS was junk on these trucks most people get rid of it. If you pulled everything from a donor truck I don't see why not. Would need the axle shafts, wiring, ABS controller and the CAB computer in the truck

Oh! No matter, I still want it. Lol! Um, my RAM is a ‘96 2500. I do have a ‘99 Cummins 3500 that can be the donor. Will it work?

You would have to compare wiring diagrams to see. If I had to guess no because a lot changed in 98.5
