Default Possible heat issue?

Just finished filling radiator from a installing a new heater core and blend door fix in my 2001 Ram 1500 4x4. After letting thermostat open ( I think it's a 180) and topping off with antifreeze. I don't think the air is hot enough. Thoughts anyone, did I miss something?

Confirm actual water temp to start with. A 180 degree thermostat is a bit cool in the colder areas. Make sure the blend door is opening.

The temp should change when you go to the opposite temps and sometimes you can hear it hit. Did you index the stepper motor on the blend door?

Had it apart and lined up a dot on the gear wheel but not 100% sure. Is there another way to index it?
