Default Adjusting TV cable?

I have a 1996 RAM with the 5.9 engine, 4x4 that had the transmission TV cable off. There is a lot of “slack/play” on the cable. Is there any way to adjust it? Thank you!

Yep, proper procedure is detailed in the service manual. Get one here, if you don't already have one.

I don’t know if I’m just not seeing it, but I’ve been over the service manual, and seen nothing about TV cable adjustment.

Page 21-359, by section, or, 1749 of 1985 by page number. Yep, it's fun to find.

Damn do you have it memorized? It takes me like 20 minutes just to find the wiring section and I know it's 8W

Nope, just have a vague idea where to look. (I've looked it up before. )
