Cool Transmission problem

Changed transmission fluid, governor and pressure solenoids, fluid level is full. When traveling at 65 mph or so..step on peddle to downshift for passing gear, the transmission cycles back and forth and will not stay downshifted to pick up speed and shift out.I have checked for vacuum leaks and found none.Thinking maybe torque convertor is going out, or is there another solenoid I don't know about?

Word of advice: please don't post same question multiple times on different topics. It's easier to follow conversation when everyone replys to same post.

But to your problem, start by checking the tv-cable, so that it has the correct adjustment.
