Question Seats - Pain in the ... (2001 - 3500)

Greetings All!
(Just and FYI I am nearing the end of the transmission saga and will post that soon)
I have been putting the mandatory 500 miles on my differentials after replacing the gearing to 4.10s
This last outing was a good long drive, and my tookus was just thoroughly upset by the end.
It had been so long since my last long drive, that I had forgotten how poor those seats are.
2001 RAM 3500 4x4 with all the options except the snow plow. (and I do mean all the options)
Seats are leather, powered, heated, and stiff as a board.
I am not a huge fella, but I am 180-190 pounds depending on which scale my wife sees.

What can be done here?! I am about to go on a 2 week adventure in this seat and it is very concerning!

Yeah, the seats simply are not that comfortable for long drives..... After about 4 hours in mind, I have had enough for the day.

Mine are comfy (I think they are better than my 3rd gen seats). You could try a thicker foam on the bottom seat portion.

Best seats I've ever used. Most comfortable, supportive, and longest lasting in any generation of Dodge. I'm 180 also and take road trips all the time (1500-4000 miles). Not sure what to tell you. Maybe ford seats?

Might want to try the plain valor seats. I have leather seats in my other vehicles and they can be a pain in different weather conditions. I would say the most comfortable seat in any of my vehicles would be the Daytona(even though they are leather).

I really liked the seats in my Scirocco... They were comfy enough that I could sit in them for the 20 plus hour drive to Texas. They were cloth seats.

I don’t have a problem with the seats in my ‘98 Ram Sport.
Drove PA to S.FL, one overnight and only necessary gas stops.
Probably the most comfortable (non luxury) truck seat I’ve experienced.
