will do. I just finished changing out oil pump as a precaution because of the oil fluctuation...ran out of sun. Rain moving in.. Will report back later.

Well, time to take the front of the motor apart. At TDC with #1 up, the rotor was pointing to plug 4 on the cap. She definitely jumped time.

Wow. That's pretty bad....... Get yourself a good double roller timing set to toss in there, change the waterpump/hoses as well.

Got a cloys double roller on order should be here Friday, Water pump also. Hoses are only 6 months old so they will stay except for the small hose going from intake to water pump. That was original so it will be replaced as well as o-ring in inlet hose for heater.

I picked up a new steel pipe for the heater line, (mine had rusted in half.....) in the help section at advance auto. I think it was less than ten bucks.

My pipe is I good shape and I have an array of o-rings, so hopefully I can find one that matches.

The problem I had when replacing one, was the hole in the water pump had some rough edges, and getting the o-ring past them, without damaging it, was not easy. Couple seconds with a die grinder to clean things up a bit, and it went right in, and did not leak.
