You'll find it when you pull the oil pan. Pictured part is not from the 46RE, but you get the idea.

Have a looky here. Keep in mind, these guys are NOT inexpensive, but, it should be the last transmission you ever need.

wow. Ok. So my ram has 268k on it currently. Stock 5.9 magnum, rear end, front axle and transfer case. Ive put an entirely moog front end in it. But.. i live in Michigan while my frame is solid the body is absolutely hit. My rockers are non existent, the cab corners are non existent, my bed sides flap in the wind because all support is long gone. Should i look instead for a donor with a good trans and solid body? Ive been all thru that 5.9 magnum. I pulled it out replaced all the gaskets and timing chain and put it back together. For 3 grand im wondering if finding a rust free one with a good trans and driving somewhere south to find it might be a better overall option. What do you guys think?

That's up to you, I would find a truck with a bad drivetrain and good body and then buy it along with the transmission

If i had the money i would buy both but finding a nice bodied truck getting it and buying the trans would be far past my budget. Looks like i got some thinking to do. I appreciate all the help from everyone thank you.

Don't know where you are located but by me you can pick up a pretty rust free truck with no drivetrain for about $1,000.

I live in michigan. Everything around here is rusted out. A rust free bed up here alone goes for about a grand lol.
