LoL I’ve learned the hard way not to trust torque specs from YouTube videos and just do what all data or my Haynes manual says. I’ve also learned how important proper torque specs actually are. I used to fight a leaky oil pan for years on another car cause I was too cheap to buy a torque wrench when I was younger.

I only ever use a torque wrench for engine work (internal) or wheel bearings. Everything else gets a grunt or two lol

Yep, this. Although I do also usually break out the torque wrench on external engine work if the bolt is going into anything aluminum.

Yes if it's a soft metal I always use a torque wrench
