Default 1996 dodge ram

Just got the transmission rebuild 3 days ago before it wasnt starting at all we replaced coil, crankshaft sensor, camshaft pick up, distributor cap, literally every sensor. topped it off with a map sensor yesterday fuel pump is good fuses replaced the computer everything. it reads manufactur control on the cpm it has Hella power loss stutters spits all the above unless your doing around 55 or 60 even this somtimes it backfires. New up stream, down stream 02s even put a 44flowmaster with 3 inch from the man back yesterday. I have no clue the rpms arnt accurate I'm doing 60 and pushing 3k rpm but I know the sound of that engine there's no way its running that. Rpms also fluctuate.
It's a 5.2 magnum 1996 ram 1500

Did all this start before, or after the trans rebuild? Did the sensors get replaced before or after?

No before the trans was rebuilt it would start jump to 4k rpm and die instantly now its running just not good. The scan tool said p1391 manufacturer control.

Check the wiring for the cam and crank sensor, make sure nothing got pinched. Also, pull the crank sensor, and have a look, they are frequently victims of transmission swaps......

P1391 Intermittent Loss of CMP or CKP
Reset the codes by disconnecting the battery. Do what hay you said and look for vac lines that got disconnected/damaged. The crank sensor should be a Mopar or Delphi. Didn't use BWD whatever you do!
