Default Thinking of a Turbo

I have a 96 1500 4x4 5.9 v8, what would be a good turbo set up for the truck? I don't want to build a race truck just looking to make it a bit more fun to drive around. Anybody thats done this or has tips all is greatly appricated!!!

First what is your budget? A decent turbo setup will be around 3K

Make your own tubes. They sell turbo headers on ebay. The real trick is too get the old dodge computer to play nice with the extra boost. I would also get some larger injectors. You going to run the stock intake?

The size of your turbine housing depends on how you want to drive. A larger turbine housing will slow spool but you will have less exhaust restriction. You want to run a single or twin turbos? I was going to run a cheap mid frame size turbo 60-70mm inducer. They have some decent turbos with internal wastegates to keep things simple.
