Default Best shocks for towing

Hey everyone. Sure this has came up before. What is the best shock you think for towing. My monroes are almost toast and the shock tower bushing are even more shot. I was on bilstein website trying to find a match but I cant find anything that will jive with 2" lift all around on truck. Also have 33" mud tires if anyone cares. And yes I know they are not good towing tires but I only tow my camper few times a year . Other then that just the quad trailer.

Just about any 'stock' shock should work, with your 2" lift. Bilstein 5100's are pretty popular. I think there is a poll in the FAQ/DIY section.

No, less expensive than Bilstein. They are a good value for how good they work. The gas-a-just is a good shock also if you don't haul or tow much.
