Default Cab swap

Can I swap out my 97 ram 2500 4x4 5.9L cab with a 2000 1500 2x4 5.9L cab ? Will the dash work ? I'm doing it for the extra doors ? Is it worth the trouble ? Any advise helps . Thanks .

Not easily. Unless you leave all the electronics and such, intact. (from the 00) You will also have to change the electronics in your trans, to match what the 00 PCM wants.

AS HeyYou said you can't unless you use the PCM, engine harness, all under the hood harness, driver's side fender and brake setup, and transmission harness (internal) from the 00
