Default How to level bumper?

I’ve done everything I can, and seems like the only side leveling is the passenger side. What am I doing wrong? Thank you.

Notice the right side.

Having another warm body helps..... two is even better.... two to hold the bumper in the right spot, one to tighten a couple bolts..... Doing it by yourself is a right pain in the keester.

Thank you so much, I will give it a try! How can I tighten the outer bracket “round” screw? It spins when I attempt to tighten the nut.

Aren't those carriage bolts? On mine, there were eight bolts at the mount I had to address, and that was it.....

Yes, they are carriage bolts. Mom had her incompetent employees address an issue with the bumper back in ‘02 and they literally undid every bolt. It was in the wrong “slot” before I put it where it went. It’s not even the OEM bolt! I’m trying to harvest a bolt from a junkyard, but it spins with the nut making removal difficult.

See if you can just find new ones somewhere. Given where they hang out, and how long they have been there, I think you are going to have trouble getting one off an old truck...... They all gonna have the same problem.

Some of those bolts they undid were probably the bolts that have the "factory tang" on them that hold the nut from spinning where you cant access a wrench to. As far as leveling, use a jack or two under the brackets to get it where you want it and do your stuff
