Default Quad-cab door handles

I just bought a ‘99 1500 with the quad cab and the handles on the inside of the rear doors do not work. Is there a child lock I don’t not know about if not is there a common problem with the latch I should know?

Common issue is the cable (runs to the inside handle) retainer liked to brake which requires a new cable

Common problem is the inner cable linkage breaks. Both of mine broke just a few years old. I think there was even a recall. Have to remove the door panels.

Yes just opened the door up and saw the only problem was the cable fell out of place so I Repositioned it and put a little duck tape and the problem is all fixed! Thanks guys!
