Default Front rims getting hot?

Hi all. My front rims are getting hot, and I don’t know what it could be. The brake system is new, so it’s not the brakes. The system includes calipers, pads, lines, booster, and cylinder. I suspended the truck and rotated the tires by hand, and they turn smoothly. What could it be? The hottest part of the rim is the center. My truck is a 1996 Dodge RAM 2500 4x4 5.9 360 V8. Thank you.

With the front up in the air, spin the front tires. Take note of how much effort it takes to turn them. Step HARD on the brakes a couple times, and try again, is the effort required about the same?

Depending on how hot they are getting..... it might simply be normal then. Generally, if they aren't smoking when I stop, I pretty much ignore them. Only other thing I could think of that might cause them to be excessively hot, is the bearings being on their way out.

Take it out for a drive to the point it gets hot then lift it and check things out. I had a brake line (flexible) where the metal supports hold it rust up to the point it would trap pressure in the line and cause the pads to drag on the rotor.
