Crossmember removal 2nd gen 2wd
2001 ram 2500 2wd 5.9 v8.
Got the trans 46re loose and would like to drop the crossmember. Removed the bolts. It appears to be wider at the top than bottom. Like a u spread at the top. Do you tap it up them slide it out? Beating it down aint working

I beat it the rear of the truck and it drops right out.
