I have a 1997 dodge ram 1500 I put a 3 inch lift on but the back did not lift the full 3 inches with the add a leaf, so I was looking at 2500 that has a stock 5 inch lift block rather then my stock 3 inch lift block. so could I take the u bolts and block off a 2500 and put it on mine? the only thing is my u bolts on mine are 2 1/2' and the 2500 is 3' Width so my leafs would have 1/4 of a inch on each side to move around would it be ok?

you could go to a hardware store or a local machine shop and get some u bolts made really easy, really quick. hell i could probably get in my college shop and do them. hell autozone probably has some.

 

yea your right the only thing is the blocks are 3 inch in width and the leafs are 2 1/2' in width would u think they would move?
