Default Trans temp and O/D light

I have a 2000 Ram 1500 5.9 4x4. The Trans Temp and O/D Off light come on sporadically. They will jump on about every 2 minutes and then turn off within 5 to 10 seconds. The transmission was replaced 2 years ago by the previous owner (With transmission shop paperwork to prove). There is a TINY leak at the bell housing, but I don't think that is responsible. Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated. I have read that it could be the Governor Pressure Sensor/Solenoid could be the issue as the temp sensor is built into it?

Temp sensor is part of the pressure sensor. If the PCM thinks the trans is getting too hot, it will disable O/D. Think I would start with replacing that sensor, and having a look at the check valve in the trans line.

Welcome to DF!
