Default Rebuild time...

Ok guys its come time for a complete 46re rebuild... I have a 1000$ budget to work with what would be my best option to not have to do it again soon down the road.. any input would be greatly appreciated this is the kit I was thinking on.

Looks like this kit provides for all of the wearing parts, but what about the electronic parts for the RE?

Have a look here as well. That kit would give you a trans that would last the life of the truck. (with proper care. )

I was really hoping you would answer as I value your opinion and it has helped me out quite a few times... I think I may go with that one because it comes with tc as well

Yeah, pic the options you want, including stall speed, and run with it. There are a LOT of resources online for rebuilding the 46R? trans. Including step by step videos.
