Default No start after truck is warmed up...

I have A 98 5.9/360 gas engine and I've had the following happen twice in the last month - so she has always started up very quickly, and after starting and driving a few miles and turning it off, when I come back to the truck to start it again she will crank strong as hell but will not fire up - if I had no other knowledge of the truck I would assume I have no fuel but as noted, I just drove it fine. So after a few minutes I hold the gas pedal down to the floor, may have pumped it once or twice and bam, she fired up. About a month later same exact occurrence, after driving with no issues it didn't start, waited a few minutes and stomped the pedal to the floor and she started right up.

So the question is, is this indicative of a common issue that one of you know about? Maybe its not a fuel issue but it sure feels like one, many thanks -

Sounds like it's getting flooded. It could be a couple of things most common being a bad coolant temp sensor or the wiring. Another possibility is a leaking fuel injector(s)
