Default Looking for....

Hello everyone. I'm the NFG here and I have a question. My son picked up a 96 3/4 ton, extra cab, long bed, 5.9, auto, 4x4 and like most, the headlight switch is fried. I have a new switch and plug with pigtails on it. Problem is the boy tore into it and tossed the old stuff out. And that would include the mounting bracket for the switch, the cover in the dash and the pull rod and ****. I have a universal replacement rod and ****, but I am in need of the switch mounting bracket or whatever part holds the switch into the dash.
Does anyone have a used one that they would want to sell or have info on where I can find a replacement one? The dealer here told me, "good luck". He said they are on backorder and he has no clue if/when he will see any.
Any info on finding the mounting bracket and maybe the dash cover plate would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

The mounting bracket should be part of the switch you got. The cover try a junkyard

Well, the board says OP has elected not to receive PM's, but I might have something for you. If I haven't PM'd you by tonight PM me and bug me about it

In the meantime you might try to change your settings.... no need to bore everyone with a private transaction

EDIT: I'm sorry! I looked at my donor dash and it's totally gutted of all instrumentation and switches. So, I'm no help....

Thank you Kieth_L
I was not aware that I can't get any PM's. I will have to figure out how to change that setting real quick.
I am going into this mess blindly because I have not seen what he actually did yet. I have a funny feeling that tomorrow will be a very interesting day.

Thank you for the offer to find one for me MoparFanatic21. I'm going to see what parts are needed tomorrow and go from there. If I can't find what I need I will update on this post and hopefully I will be able to get what we need.
