Default Engine Control Module List

Has anyone started a list of the control module part numbers and what the differences are? I can't find a list on the board. I'm looking for module 56028475 and can't find one "In Stock" anywhere. Autozone, Orileys, and Napa all list one but they are out of stock. E-bay also does not have this number listed.I see other modules listed that might work (5.9Z with auto) but I'm wondering what the real differences are. I know mine is considered heavy duty which might give more timing? Already had a bad experience with a rebuild place in Florida so I really want to buy over the counter so I can talk with someone in person.
The module number I keep seeing that is available is56028325. Maybe that supercedes all older units? Again, I'm looking for a list of the various modules and what the differences are. If anyone can fill in more info on the list I started I would be greatefull.

56028326 - Dodge 1500, 2500, 3500, 5.9L, Federal and High Altitude
56028325 - Same as above.
56028475 - 5.9L, Auto
56028475 - 5.9L, Auto, Heavy Duty
56028325 -5.9L, Auto
56028333 - 5.9L, Manual
56028349 - 5.9L, Auto

The heavy duty 5.9's had two O2 sensors, and I think they also still had EGR (96 and up, 95 and down most certainly have it.) Its also a different VIN code than the 'standard' 5.9.

Check the VIN code for the engine. 8th digit, I think.

Its Z so it must be light duty. Anyone know what the difference is between these two control modules? 56028475 (my original module) and 56028325, the only one I can find to buy?

First one is Federal Emissions. Second one is california emissions. Cali is going to be different programming, and their might be two O2 sensors that it expects to see. Unfortunately, since they are OBDI, they are not flash programmable, so, you need to get the right one for your truck.

Here's a list from 2012 when they still made reman units. For the 5.9 it lists CAL emissions/auto, FED emissions/auto and one for CAL/FED/manual.

Edit: All gas engines had EGR, the heavy duty version had a secondary air injection pump which does not have any control mechanisms.
