46RH trans. So, 95 and older out of trucks, or Dakotas.... (behind a v-8), provided the donor is also 4x4, so, van transmissions won't work.

So this is what happened. I just started off driving and it went in to 2 and took a bit to get to 3. and then it was losing power so I let off and started to go again and it Lost power again. and then I had no gears. So I pulled over shut the engine off and started it. and it made a howling noise so I shut it off again and started it and no noise and no gears what so ever . I was do like 40km as well.

Your trans is purely hydraulic. If the fluid level is good, it's likely time for a rebuild, or new trans....

Moving this to second gen ram section.

There is the pressure test at the bottom in the link. I would test that before anything. Did you check the fluid level and color?

Not very likely. Time to rebuild or replace it.
