Default 98 Transmission Upgrades

HI, im new to the site. I have a 98 Ram and am getting ready to rebuild the automatic transmission in it. What upgrades should i do to it? Any help would greatly be appreciated.

upgrade your planetary's to the 5 pinion type(stock is 4) will handle alot more laod. look into the aps vb or a trans go shift kit. Go with a quality kit. There are some cheap-o kits out there but you get what you pay for. install the largest cooler that you can find. heat kills transmissions of any type. Use atf +4 or amsoil. You won't be sorry. after the rebuild get ahold of a pressure gage and check your pressures and write them down. If you have a problem later you can go back to your sheet and see where to start looking.
