Default Code 17?

So I have changed my coolant temp sensor. The small sensor with 2 wires. Check engine light was on because of it, replaced it. Cel light went away, now code 32 & 17 are being recorded and throw at me. The plastic EGR thing for code 32 easy fix. What causes a code 17 and how can I get rid of it though. Everything on my truck runs fine beside old suspension, 1995 - 1500 318 mag 5.2L. Might code 17 be a left over from changing that sensor? An will go away in time?

Clear the code/s out of the pcm by disconnecting the battery for a while.
17 is the low temp code

Ok, this is what I found for code 17:

17 Closed loop temp not reached or engine cold too long

How's the thermostat?

What temperature thermostat do you have in the truck? If it isn't a 195 degree unit, you'll keep getting a code. Your fuel mileage will also create a vacuum. If it is a 195, you didn't put a FailSafe unit in did you? Lot's of people put a cooler thermostat unit in to get more power but that doesn't work on computerized systems.
