Default Factory Stock Stereo Question

Do any of the factory stock head units work if the truck was originally equipped with the Infinity system? My '97 was Infinity equipped, and has a crap aftermarket unit. I prefer to keep mine factory as I find the buttons, etc more visible and user friendly. And I'm not much of an audiophile in the truck.

Thanks!

The infinity system has amplification at the speakers... the stock unit amplifies at the head unit.

Thanks for the information! Now, does anyone have one that needs a new home? :-)

Thanks!

Thanks!
Junkyard is your best bet as 90% of people ditch the factory radio the first minute they get the truck. It's probably one of the first mods anyone does

I've got one, but it would intermittently shut down when driving, like every 5-20mins.
