97 2nd gen Revers lights

Reverse switch keeps going bad, get roughly 4 months per switch, I've bought them from Amazon and local parts stores. Any ideas what to check or a brand that is better?

Moved to 2nd gen ram section for ya.

Check the contacts in the connector, and also the grounds for the backup lights. Might consider getting a switch from the dealer.....
