rats part 3
[:@] i replaced the wires, plugs, cap and rotor. still have the #8 missfire code. so now i guess its the injectors. when you touch the #8 injector plug you can't feel it tick, all the others you can. my ? is how much is an injector, or is it the plug, how can i check that. sorry for the ?'s but its getting on my nerves.
Since you had the rat problem the first thing I would do it unplug that injector and use a voltimeter and make sure you are getting power. If your not getting any power to the plug I would then trace the wires back and see if you can find where the rats chewed through it then splice it back together. If you do have power to the plug then you know its probubly the injector so remove the injector along with one of the others and see if the misfire followes the injector if it doesn't then you have a deeper problem.

haha, i would just sit in the truck and put some of that cheese spray on one of the wires. then when that sucker started chewing though just fire it up.
JK haha.
You should be able to hook a test light up to the injector plug and see if the light flashes. If not as said here before trace the wires down looking for bad spots. If non are found check wires for open from PCM to injector (check wiring diagram). If no open circuts are found your probly looking at a PCM problem.
