Recently bought what I thought was a drivers seat cushion for bucket seat. Did not fit frame-found out, it was NOT bucket seats, but rather, a split bench. Any suggestions on where to purchase the cushion I need? I cannot upholster, so I would need the covered cushion. Or, is there a specific term I need to ask for? Went to an auto website...typed in the exact specifications, and the seat they recommended is the one that does not fit old seat frame.

Second gens never came with true bucket seats. It was always a split bench. Can you post a picture of your seat

 

Can’t get pic to post. Sent info to Genos garage as recommended by jrsick. Said they didn’t sell “custom” parts...did not have that part in stock.unfortunately, could not help me...suggestions?

 

To me it sounds like you do not have the factory interior. The factory interior was a bench that was split into 3 seats. Unfortunately with yours being aftermarket or another brand and not knowing who makes them, not much we can do here.
