Default 1998 Dodge Ram 3500 Quad Cab Door Locks

Hi Guys, looking to fit a keyless entry kit to my dodge ram. Currently it has the powered locks from factory but doesn't have the keyless. I've attached a photo of the wiring diagram. Has anyone attempted this. To me it looks like you would have to cut the orange/black and thr pink/black making your control switches void and then have a kit that outputs both a 12v and 0v for lock and the same for unlock. If you try wiring into it just now because the switches have got 0v going through them and when you hit lock/unlock it reverses the polarity on the motor therefore turning the motor one way or another it just pops the fuse almost have to bypass the system in place or completely re-do it. Anyone got any suggestions?

Need to find out why the locks are blowing the fuse before you start modifying the system.

There is no issue the powered locks work fine. Im just saying it can't be wired in very easy with the locks wired the way they are because the 12v and 0v switch over on the switch. Because this happens I can't wire it in the way it says on the kit because it just blows the fuse

I think those kits typically have two separate outputs that put out 12V for either lock or unlock. It needs to be a pulse not permanent. If yours works like that add two relays in the connections before the splice to the door lock actuators (should be easy to find on either side of the dash where the harness comes in from the doors). Relays at rest connects the wires, either relay active connects that wire to 12V, pretty much like the switches do.
