The oil pump is built as part of the timing cover and the screws for the pump cover are on the back side. Quick peace of mind to just locktite them in, I did on mine when I did my cam and head work.
Are you using a mechanical gauge? I have had v10s apart and always lock tight the pump screws in on reassembly. I didn’t disassemble this engine before installing it so this could be an issue. The factory spec says 12 to 25? For now I will just keep an eye on it and if I see it start dropping lower than spec I will pull the front clover and check. Thanks

Nope, never had an issue with the dash gauge. So far the dash been accurate when checked against diagnostic tools, in my experience at least.
