Default Battery Ground Wire

I have a 2000 ram, 5.9 gas engine I am putting in a 87 dakota.
Could someone tell me specifically where the battery ground is connected to the engine?
Thanks

On my 318 it connects to the top power steering pump bracket.

Since it's a custom install, you can mount it where you like it. Functionally, you will want a large ground cable to the battery to bolt to the block somewhere. This is the main ground. I would also run a couple of smaller grounds, usually mesh straps, from the firewall to the engine. These will complete the body ground circuit. You have a small wire hooked to the negative cable but these will supplement it. If it gets damaged, these will keep your lights, radio, HVAC and other systems working properly.

Thank you for your response. I pulled the motor out in october, and just assumed it bolted direct to the block or head.... But there are no spare holes in the front or side.
Can you tell me, is it one of the 4 mounting bolts that hold the bracket to the engine?
And thanks for your help.

Thanks for your response. Yes, I have a ground strap from the back of the passenger head to the firewall.

There are two bolts that hold the bracket to the engine. It's the top one
