Coolant temp was 197 fully warmed up and IAT was around 110. So I am lost. My scanner for some reason won't let me control the Purge soleniod but it seems to work driving around. So I guess I'll replace the CPS then ifthst doesn't fix it follow up with purge solenoid, then carbon canister.

I noticed when you rev it has a heavy gas smell (will burn your eyes)

So I tried to command the purge valve on with my DRBlll, Autel, and Bosch it wouldn't communicate but it showed it was commanding what the PCM wanted. I thought that was weird I couldn't do any tests. So when it was cold I could communicate to it, not after about 25 minutes I couldn't control it.

So I replaced it and it seems to have fixed the issue. Thanks guys!

I ordered a MAP sensor and an O2 sensor to see if that fixes it

Mopar, I'm having the same problem with my 08 Mazda 3. My "purge flow hi" money lite was on. My 2way scanner told me that my flow rate was hi, I couldn't command it lower even tho it said it was commanding lower/higher. i took out the purge solenoid, i tested it, it tested good. I checked the rest of the system, all checked good. Came back another day to re-test the purge solenoid n voila. The solenoid tried to move but was stuck. Banged the purge sol with a screwdriver n it worked again. I'm guessing you mite be having the same problem I was havin? Intermittent solenoid sticking, ESPECIALLY when it's cold? Hope this helps.

I replaced it with a known good one. I also did the gas cap test and it was fine. I believe it's the map sensor and/or O2 sensor.

Turned out to be a failing fuel pump. Pressure was only 42psi at idle but dropped to 20psi when hot and under load.
