Hi guys! Finally a member after seeing this forum come up in every google search! 😀

Has anyone got any new information in regards to 6 speed auto conversions for the 318/360?

Your time is much appreciated. Thank you

It can be done but you will need a way to control it. This was brought up on another forum and the problem was the crank sensor for the magnum motor. The RFE doesn't have any holes for the crank sensor to read. I'm sure with enough thought this could be worked out but if you are going to go through all the work and expense why not just do a full hemi swap.

Actually, I think a full Hemi swap would end up being less expensive then trying to mate the trans to an older engine. There was a company that made controllers for the newer transmissions, but, you are talking a couple grand JUST for the controller, and wiring harness...... not to mention the cost of the trans itself.
