Default Torque converter knock ??

hi i recently found that this truck i bought which is a 5.9 magnum 2001 extended cab automatic trans has a loud knocking noise coming from in between the flex plate and the torque converter i will post a video so you can hear it for your self the knocking is the worst in reverse and the quietest in neutral, the pitch of the noise changes when i switch between any gear, so what i did was pull the trans because i thought it was the flexplate which looks fine to me no bending or anything like that, then i had a look at the TC and it has a knock in one spot of the full rotation so im thinking its a transmission issue now because when i was pulling the trans the 2 of the bellhousing bolts were missing and the others were pretty lose. https://imgur.com/a/VHeKLyR

For whatever reason, I'm not getting audio on the clip?

Can you see anything on the perimeter of the tc that shows evidence of contact? (basically, a shiny spot.)

there is a audio button in the top right of the video and what originally i thought happened was the starter because the idiot that i bought the truck from chose to cut corners on everything he did i guess because the starter had 1 bolt threaded and tight and the other bolt was the wrong tread and was loose and what happened was i pulled the starter because i thought the TC was hitting it and sure enough the snot got broken off by the TC so i thought that putting a new starter in would fix it but nope something else is the issue here

I was able to view and listen to both videos. It seems like your issue is either an internal issue in the transmission itself or the torque converter.

ok thx im taking the trans over to a shop on monday or Tuesday to have them take a look, im thinking its the TC because ive compared it to another trans that i had in my shed and the one thats on the 2nd gen now has 0 resistants spinning compared to the one in my shed which spins freely but has some resistants, either way ill keep this thread updated on what turns out to be the issue
