Default Fuse to use on 117A alternator

Can it cause a problem to have a 140amp fuse for my 117A alternator? Should I change it for the 120A fuse?

Recent problems are check gauge light on because Voltmeter max out at 18V, restarting it after some seconds and light goes off.
Also trying to start the truck one morning nothing would go on no power no cranking so watched batterie fuses wiring then felt like connection got made then truck starts and obviously it was like battery was disconnected.. all connection are clean
I don't think the fuse is related but trying to get more info on everything.. Went for inspection of battery PCM and alternator and alternator failed load test

Is it OK to have the 140A fuse with the 117A alternator?

Yes. The stock charging whirlers are either 117A or 136A but both use the 140A fuse.
